(Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV) DevotionWhy: Salvation through grace is perhaps the greatest reason for our gratitude, as it's a gift we could never earn. It’s a demonstration of God’s immense love for us and a cornerstone of our faith. Interpretation: These verses remind us that our salvation is not by our works, which should humble us and fill us with thanks for God's grace. We are saved through faith, and this is a gift from God, not a result of anything we can achieve on our own. ApplicationTake some time today to reflect on your personal journey of salvation. Consider writing a letter of thanks to God for your salvation, expressing your gratitude for the grace that has changed your life. If you feel led, share your testimony with someone who may need to hear about the saving power of Jesus.
PrayerHeavenly Father, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of salvation. Thank You for saving us through Your grace and for the faith that brings us into a relationship with You.
