Scripture for This Morning
“I have been crucified with Christ…” Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
Devotional Thought
Monday begins with movement.
Plans. Responsibilities. Decisions.
But the foundation must be clear:
“I have been crucified with Christ.”
Before action comes identity.
A man who begins his day from the cross does not step into the day led by impulse or self-interest.
He remembers:
That life has been put to death. Its rule has been broken. Its authority has ended.
So he does not ask, “What do I want today?”
He asks, “What aligns with the life that has been crucified with Christ?”
The cross is not behind you only. It stands at the start of your day.
Begin there.
Questions to Consider
- Am I starting this day from the reality of the cross or from my own desires?
- What decisions today must be shaped by the truth that I have been crucified with Christ?
- Where am I tempted to let self lead instead of Christ?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me begin this day from the truth of the cross. Guard me from self-led decisions and teach me to walk in alignment with what You have declared. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Encouragement for This Morning
Start your day at the cross. Let it shape everything that follows.
