Scripture for This Morning
“…but Christ lives in me.” Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
Devotional Thought
Monday begins with responsibility.
Decisions. Tasks. Pressure.
And the instinct is immediate:
“I need to handle this.”
But the truth speaks first:
“…Christ lives in me.”
A man who understands this does not start his day with self-reliance.
He does not brace himself for performance.
He begins with dependence.
Not as a feeling, but as a deliberate posture.
Before action, recognition.
Christ is present. Christ is active. Christ is sufficient.
Do not step into the day alone when you are not alone.
Questions to Consider
- Am I starting this day in self-reliance or dependence on Christ?
- Do I truly acknowledge that He lives in me before I begin?
- What would it look like to rely on Him in my decisions today?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me begin this day in dependence on Christ. Guard me from self-reliance and teach me to trust Him in every step I take. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Encouragement for This Morning
You do not carry this day alone. Christ in you is sufficient.
