Devotional Thought
A new week begins and so do the pressures that try to settle on a man’s shoulders. Deadlines. Responsibilities. Spiritual battles. Family needs. And beneath it all, the deeper desires and deeper aches that only God sees.
The Lord is inviting you this morning to lift your eyes. When a man lifts his eyes, he refuses to let circumstances define his direction. He remembers that his help, strength, provision, and clarity do not come from his abilities. They flow from the One who shaped the mountains and shaped him.
Start this week by looking up. Lift your eyes in prayer. Lift your eyes in trust. Lift your eyes in surrender. Your help is not weak or late or uncertain. Your help is the Lord Himself.
Whether you are married, single, widowed, dating, mentoring children, or walking through loneliness or transition, your Father sees you. And He goes before you.
Prayer
Father, I lift my eyes to You this morning. Carry me, guide me, protect me, and steady me as I walk into this new week. Help me rely on Your strength rather than my own and keep my heart close to You in every moment. In Jesus Name, Amen.
