Devotional Thought
A man is making choices all day long. Not only big ones. Small ones. What he watches. What he laughs at. What he tolerates. What he pursues. What he avoids.
Jesus says the road that leads to life is narrow. That means the road that leads to drift is easy.
The narrow path is not about being religious. It is about being surrendered.
It is the man who chooses truth when compromise would be simpler. The man who chooses purity when temptation is convenient. The man who chooses humility when pride feels justified. The man who chooses prayer when distraction is calling.
This morning, ask yourself. Where is the broad road trying to look normal in my life? What is one narrow-path decision I need to make today, before pressure hits? Who am I becoming through my daily choices?
The narrow road leads to life because it keeps you close to Christ.
Questions to Consider
- Where is the broad road trying to look normal in my life?
- What is one narrow-path decision I need to make today, before pressure hits?
- Who am I becoming through my daily choices?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, lead me on the narrow path today. Give me wisdom to recognize compromise and courage to reject it. Strengthen my desire for holiness and keep my heart close to Christ. Help me walk in obedience with joy and steadiness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Encouragement for Today
You are not walking the narrow road to earn love. In Christ, you are already loved, forgiven, and secure. Obey from grace.
