Devotional Thought
Trust is built slowly and broken quickly. And much of it comes down to one word: integrity.
Integrity is who you are when nobody is watching. It is consistency between public and private. It is truth without twisting. It is owning what you said and doing what you promised.
A man who walks in integrity becomes a safe man. Safe at home. Safe in friendship. Safe at work. Safe in the church. Not because he never fails, but because he tells the truth and makes things right.
Tonight, reflect honestly. Did I tell the truth today, even when it cost me? Did I follow through on what I said I would do? Did I own my mistakes quickly?
Where integrity is lacking, do not hide. Repent. Repair. Return to the Lord.
God builds strong men through honest consistency.
Questions to Consider
- Did I tell the truth today, even when it cost me?
- Did I follow through on what I said I would do?
- Did I own my mistakes quickly?
Prayer
Father, make me a man of integrity. Help honesty guide me in my words, decisions, and private life. Forgive me where I have twisted truth or avoided responsibility. Give me humility to make things right and strength to walk upright tomorrow. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Encouragement for Tonight
