Devotional Thought
Sunday morning is a window into a man’s appetite. Not for food, but for God.
Many men live spiritually dehydrated. Busy, responsible, outwardly functioning, but inwardly dry. God invites you to come hungry. Not polished. Not pretending. Hungry.
Hunger for God is not emotional hype. It is a settled desire for His presence, His Word, and His ways. A man who comes hungry is a man who is ready to be shaped.
This morning, come honestly. If you feel strong, thank Him. If you feel dry, ask Him. If you feel distracted, confess it. If you feel burdened, bring it.
Ask yourself today. What have I been feeding my soul all week? Have I been living on spiritual leftovers? What would it look like to pursue God with a real appetite today?
God satisfies hungry men.
Questions to Consider
- What have I been feeding my soul all week?
- Have I been living on spiritual leftovers?
- What would it look like to pursue God with a real appetite today?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, make me hungry for You today. Refresh my soul and renew my desire for Your presence. Forgive me where I have become distracted or dry. Feed me through Your Word and strengthen me through worship so I can live with faith and steadiness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Encouragement for Today
