Scripture for This Morning
Colossians 3:23 (NIV):
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
Colossians 3:23 (NLT):
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
Devotional Thought
Monday restores structure. Responsibilities return. Expectations reappear.
God does not separate faith from work. He calls men to carry Christlike purpose into ordinary labor. Your work today is not merely about income or recognition. It is stewardship before God.
A man who enters the week with purpose understands who he ultimately serves. He works diligently without bitterness. He remains faithful without applause. He honors God through effort, integrity, and attitude.
Begin this week with clarity. Your work belongs to the Lord.
Questions to Consider
- Who am I ultimately working for this week?
- Where am I tempted to work for approval rather than faithfulness?
- How can my attitude today reflect service to Christ?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I place this workweek before You. Help me labor with purpose and integrity, knowing that I serve You above all. Shape my attitude and efforts so they honor You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Encouragement for This Morning
Your work matters to God. As you serve Him faithfully today, He sees and strengthens your labor.
