“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”
Devotional Thought
The week closes. Effort has been made. Results are not fully visible.
Scripture commands commitment and trust. You are responsible for obedience. God is responsible for outcomes.
A man who entrusts outcomes to God does not obsess over results. He does not replay conversations endlessly. He places the week into God’s hands.
Trust quiets the mind. Trust steadies the heart.
Tonight, release control.
Questions to Consider
- Am I holding tightly to results that belong to God?
- Where do I need to replace control with trust?
- Have I committed my way to the Lord fully?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I commit this week’s efforts to You. I trust You with outcomes I cannot control. Help me rest in Your sovereignty and faithfulness tonight. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Encouragement for Tonight
You are called to obedience, not control. God governs the results with wisdom and care.
