Scripture for This Morning

Psalm 90:12 (NLT):
“Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.”
Devotional Thought
Saturday offers margin. Tasks remain, but the pace is different. God invites a man to use this day wisely, not wastefully.
Wisdom orders priorities. It completes what needs attention. It invests time where it matters most, especially with family. It looks for quiet opportunities to help others along the way.
A wise man does not drift through Saturday. He stewards the day God has given him. He works diligently, rests intentionally, and remains attentive to the needs around him.
Use this day well. It is a gift, not excess.
Questions to Consider
- What responsibilities need faithful attention today?
- How can I be present and engaged with my family rather than distracted?
- Who might God be prompting me to help or encourage today?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for this day. Teach me to use it wisely. Help me order my priorities, serve my family well, and remain attentive to opportunities to bless others. Guide my steps with wisdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Encouragement for This Morning
Wisdom honors God in ordinary moments. As you steward this day well, your obedience bears quiet fruit.
