“Then the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Devotional Thought
Monday evening can expose what you carried silently. Worries you did not say out loud. Tension you held in your body. Thoughts you kept cycling through.
God does not tell you to pretend you are fine. He tells you to pray in every situation. Not as a last resort, but as a way of life.
Prayer is where a man stops rehearsing fear and starts presenting requests. With thanksgiving, because God has already been faithful. With humility, because you are not the Savior. With trust, because Christ is able.
Tonight, trade anxiety for prayer. Name what is weighing you down. Present it to God clearly. Thank Him for what He has already carried you through.
Ask yourself this evening. What worry have I been rehearsing instead of praying? What request do I need to present to God right now? What would it look like to sleep as a man who trusts Christ?
God’s peace guards hearts and minds.
Questions to Consider
- What worry have I been rehearsing instead of praying?
- What request do I need to present to God right now?
- What would it look like to sleep as a man who trusts Christ?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I bring You what has been weighing on me today. I present my requests to You with thanksgiving and trust. Guard my heart and mind with the peace of Christ. Help me release anxiety and rest in Your faithful care tonight. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Encouragement for Tonight
You are not held together by your control. In Christ, you are held by grace. God’s peace can guard you as you sleep.
