Scripture for Tonight
“I have been crucified with Christ…” Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
Devotional Thought
Patterns form over time.
Reactions. Habits. Ways of thinking.
Even after the cross, they try to remain.
But they no longer have rightful place.
A man who lives the crucified life does not excuse what belongs to the old self.
He does not say, “That’s just how I am.”
He says, “That is what has been crucified.”
And he breaks agreement.
Not slowly. Not casually.
Decisively.
Tuesday evening is a moment of clarity:
What pattern still remains that does not belong?
Name it. Reject it. Lay it at the cross.
Questions to Consider
- What patterns in my life do not align with the truth of the cross?
- Am I excusing what should be rejected?
- What step must I take to break agreement with it?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, give me courage to break agreement with what does not belong in my life. Help me live in alignment with the truth that I have been crucified with Christ. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Encouragement for Tonight
You are not bound to old patterns. The cross has already set you free.
