Devotional Thought

Monday starts quickly.

Tasks. Decisions. Pressure.

And the instinct is immediate:

“I need to handle today.”

But the truth speaks first:

“I live by faith…”

A man who lives by faith does not begin his day assuming he is the source.

He begins with dependence.

Not vague. Intentional.

Before action— recognition.

I do not have what this day requires. Christ does.

Faith is not a feeling. It is a decision to rely.

Monday begins best when you settle this:

You will not live this day on your own.

Questions to Consider

Am I beginning this day in self-reliance or dependence on Christ?
Where do I already feel pressure to perform on my own?
What would it look like to consciously trust Him today?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me begin this day by faith. Guard me from self-reliance and teach me to depend on Christ in everything I face. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Devotional Thought

God’s Word does not fluctuate.

It stands.

Not temporarily. Not conditionally.

Firm.

When God speaks, reality adjusts. Not the other way around.

A man who understands this does not try to reshape God’s Word to fit his life.

He reshapes his life to align with God’s Word.

This is where transformation happens.

Not in hearing alone. But in alignment.

Monday evening is a moment to examine:

What has God spoken, and am I aligned with it?

If it stands firm, your life must stand under it.

Questions to Consider

Where is my life out of alignment with what God has spoken?
Am I adjusting truth to fit me, or adjusting myself to fit truth?
What needs to change so I walk in alignment with His Word?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me align my life with Your Word. Guard me from resisting what You have spoken and give me a heart that responds with obedience. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Devotional Thought

The cross is not only where Christ died. It is where your old life was judged.

“I have been crucified with Christ.”

Not gradually. Not partially.

Decisively.

The verdict has already been given.

The old self— its guilt, its claim, its authority— has been dealt with at the cross.

A man who accepts the verdict of the cross does not keep reopening what God has already closed.

He does not rehearse what Christ has already judged. He does not negotiate with what has already been crucified.

He agrees with the cross.

Sunday evening is a moment to settle this truth:

The old life is not being improved. It has been crucified.

Rest in that reality.

Questions to Consider

Am I still identifying with what Christ has already crucified?
Do I accept God’s verdict over my old life, or do I keep revisiting it?
What would it look like to fully agree with the cross tonight?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me accept the truth that I have been crucified with Christ. Guard me from returning to what You have already judged, and teach me to rest in the finished work of the cross. In Jesus Name, Amen.

To “watch” is to stay alert. To examine. To guard.

A man who leads, whether in his home, church, or workplace, must guard both what he believes and how he lives. Your life interprets your doctrine. Your doctrine shapes your life.

Neglect either one, and influence weakens. Leadership begins with vigilance.

Is my conduct aligned with the truth I profess?
Am I careful with what I believe and how I live?
Where do I need renewed vigilance in doctrine or character?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me watch my life and doctrine closely. Guard me from inconsistency and error. Strengthen me to lead with integrity and truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
