Who is it for?
Men and young men (high school and up) who desire honest fellowship and encouragement in Christ.

About the Annual Men’s Breakfast

Too often, men only learn each other’s stories when it is too late, reading details in an obituary instead of hearing them face to face. Our Annual Men’s Breakfast exists to break that pattern. We gather as brothers in Christ to share a meal, listen to a personal testimony, and get to know one another in a way that strengthens real relationships and real discipleship.

This year, our featured speaker is Brother David Storrs. David will be sharing how the Lord has met him in real-life struggles, strengthened his faith, and shaped his walk as a man of God. If you have ever wrestled with pressure, discouragement, or questions about what it really means to follow Christ as a man, this morning will speak directly into those places. You will not hear a perfect story, but a true one – a story of God’s faithfulness in the middle of ordinary and difficult seasons of life.

The Scriptures call us, “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story” (Psalm 107:2, NIV). That is what this morning is about: redeemed men telling of the Redeemer, so that other men can be encouraged, challenged, and built up in their own walk with Christ. Along the way, you will find that hearing another brother’s journey helps you see the Lord’s hand more clearly in your own.

Morning Format

  1. Arrival and coffee
  2. Breakfast and table fellowship
  3. Welcome and opening prayer
  4. Testimony from Brother David Storrs
  5. Closing encouragement and prayer

Practical Details

  • Meeting Time: Saturday, 8:00–10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Springfield Baptist Church.
  • Format: Breakfast, fellowship, and a testimony-focused gathering.
  • What to bring: Yourself, a good appetite, and a heart ready to listen and encourage.

You Are Invited

Come hungry for breakfast and for the Word. Invite a friend, a neighbor, a coworker, or a family member who needs to hear a real story of God’s faithfulness. This is a simple morning, but the Lord often uses simple moments like this to deepen friendships, open hearts, and strengthen men in their walk with Christ.

Man of His Word by Adrian Rogers
Session
Session 5 – Called to Labor: A Man and His Career
Facilitator
Pastor Aamir Din
Who is it for?
Men who desire to follow Christ in every area of life, including their work.

About This Session

Work takes up a large part of a man’s life. Yet many men feel torn between their job, their family, and their walk with Christ. In Session 5 of Man of His Word, titled “Called to Labor: A Man and His Career,” we will look at what it means to be a man whose work is shaped by the Word of God instead of the pressures and values of the world. Rather than seeing our job as something separate from our faith, this study calls us to view our labor as a place of calling, stewardship, and daily obedience to Christ.

Together, we will consider how Scripture speaks to diligence, integrity, responsibility, and rest. We will talk honestly about the challenges men face at work: expectations, stress, success, failure, and the temptation to find our identity in our career instead of in Christ. This has been a fruitful study for the men who have been attending, as the Lord has used it to build relationships, encourage one another, and push us to grow in our walk with Him in very practical ways.

You do not need to have been at the earlier sessions to join us for this one. If you are a man who wants to think biblically about your work, learn alongside other men, and be strengthened to live as a man of His Word in your career and at home, you are warmly invited. Come ready to open your Bible, share, listen, and be sharpened by the Word and by your brothers in Christ.

Evening Flow

  1. Welcome, coffee, and conversation
  2. Opening prayer and brief introduction to the topic
  3. Video segment from Man of His Word
  4. Guided discussion and application to work and daily life
  5. Prayer for one another, our families, and our workplaces

Practical Details

  • Meeting Time: Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Location: Fellowship Hall, Springfield Baptist Church.
  • What to bring: Your Bible.

You Are Invited

Men, you are invited to step away from the week’s demands and gather with brothers who want to follow Christ together. Whether you are just beginning to think about these things or have walked with the Lord for many years, there is room for you at the table. Join us as we seek to be men of His Word in the place where we spend so much of our time – our work.

Session 3: “Conflicts Within”
Facilitator
Darla Monroe
Who is it for?
Women seeking biblical wisdom, heart change, and gospel-shaped peace.

About This Study

Many conflicts do not begin with other people. They begin within the heart. Part Three of Peace Making Women, titled “Conflicts Within,” turns our attention inward, helping us see how desires, fears, expectations, and unmet longings can quietly shape our reactions, attitudes, and responses. Rather than offering quick fixes or surface-level advice, this section invites us to examine our hearts in the light of Scripture and the gospel.

This study addresses common internal struggles such as anger, bitterness, anxiety, guilt, and self-justification. Through biblical teaching and thoughtful discussion, women are encouraged to understand how God’s grace meets us in these hidden places. We will explore how the gospel reshapes our motives, anchors us in Christ’s forgiveness, and leads us toward lasting peace that flows from a restored relationship with God.

Session 3 is designed to be honest, gentle, and hope-filled. Whether you are walking through relational tension or simply desire deeper spiritual growth, you will find this study both grounding and encouraging. You do not need to have attended previous sessions to join us. Come ready to learn, reflect, and grow together in a supportive and Christ-centered environment.

Study Format

  1. Opening prayer and welcome
  2. Bible-based teaching from the study
  3. Guided discussion and reflection
  4. Prayer and encouragement

Practical Details

  • Meeting Time: Tuesdays, 9:00–10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Springfield Baptist Church
  • Materials: Peace Making Women study book and a Bible

You Are Invited

If you are longing for peace that reaches deeper than circumstances and relationships, this study is for you. Join us as we learn how the gospel transforms not only our conflicts with others, but the conflicts within our own hearts.

About Youth Group – Theology for Teens

What we believe about God, the Bible, and life does not sit in the background. It shapes how we see ourselves, how we make decisions, and where we find hope when life is hard. At Youth Group, our theology track is designed to help teens move beyond vague beliefs and learn what Scripture actually says, and why it matters for real life in school, at home, online, and with friends.

Together we are walking through the big truths of the Christian faith at a pace that lets students listen, ask questions, and process. Over time we will look at what the Bible teaches about Scripture, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times. Each week includes time in the Word of God, a clear connection to how these truths touch everyday life, a snack, and games that give students space to relax and build friendships.

You do not need to know a lot or have all the answers to join us. If you are in grades 7–12 and want to grow, ask honest questions, and see how the gospel speaks into the world you live in, you are welcome. Come as you are, bring a friend, and be ready to think, laugh, and learn together.

Session 8: 2 Corinthians 8:8–9:15
Focus
The Macedonian Example and Cheerful Giving
Facilitator
Pastor Aamir Din
Who is it for?
All adults and teens who desire to grow in biblical understanding and obedience.

About This Study

In a world that often treats money as a master, this Midweek Bible Study will lift our eyes to the grace of God that frees us to give with joy. In Session 8, we will walk through 2 Corinthians 8:8–9:15, where Paul holds up the Macedonian believers as an example of sacrificial generosity and calls God’s people to become cheerful givers who trust His abundant grace. Whether you are wrestling with financial pressure, learning to give for the first time, or simply longing to see your heart more fully aligned with Christ, you are warmly invited to join us as we open the Word together.

Our time together will be simple and focused. We will read the passage carefully, consider what it reveals about God’s character and His grace, and talk honestly about how it speaks into our daily decisions, priorities, and habits. You do not need to have attended previous sessions to benefit from this study. Bring a Bible if you have one, and come ready to listen, ask questions, and grow alongside your church family.

Evening Flow

  1. Welcome and opening prayer
  2. Reading of 2 Corinthians 8:8–9:15
