Join Us for Session 1 of the "Peacemaking Women" Book Study
Embark on a Journey of Spiritual Growth and Understanding
This spring, from February 13 to May 9, 2024, we invite the women of our church to delve into a transformative exploration of peace and reconciliation with the first session of our "Peacemaking Women" book study. Led by Darla Monroe and Carissa Din, this session promises to be a time of deep reflection, learning, and community.
Session 1 Details
In this session, we will engage with the foundational concepts of our faith and how they inspire us to live in peace with ourselves and others. Our discussions will be rooted in the transformative power of the Gospel, exploring themes that challenge and encourage us to reflect on our relationship with God and His calling for our lives.
Our Approach
Recognizing the diverse needs and schedules of our community, we offer two weekly meeting times to accommodate as many as possible. This flexibility reflects our commitment to meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the women in our church.
Spiritually, we aim to delve deep into the truths of God's Word, providing a space for thoughtful discussion, prayer, and reflection. Our goal is to emerge with a strengthened faith and a clearer understanding of what it means to be peacemakers in every aspect of our lives.
Physically, we understand the challenges of balancing life's responsibilities. Our session is designed to be a respite and a source of renewal, acknowledging the ebbs and flows of daily life and the importance of community support.
What We Will Explore
The first session will focus on laying a solid foundation for our study. Without revealing specific titles or themes that might pre-conceive notions, we assure you that our discussions will be open, inclusive, and profoundly rooted in Scripture. We aim to create a welcoming environment where all questions are valued, and every voice is heard.
