Furnace Fund
- At the April 29th quarterly business meeting, the church approved the replacement of the two existing church furnaces, which have been working inconsistently this past winter. Both of the current furnaces are over 25 years old and will be replaced with more energy efficient units. The church also approved the purchase of an air conditioning unit to coincide with the new furnaces. Total cost for the furnaces and air conditioning is estimated at $21,000. At that meeting, it was decided upon to raise $7,600 of these estimated costs through donations from the congregation.
- A “Furnace Fund” donation box will remain in the foyer each week for such donations. As God leads you, any donation will be greatly appreciated and be useful for the ministries here at Springfield Baptist for years to come.
