Our Mission
We're here to cultivate a Christ-centered community that supports you in your spiritual journey. Our mission is clear:
  • Encourage and Minister: We're committed to addressing your needs, encouraging growth in faith, love, and service.
  • Foster Spiritual Growth: Through biblical studies, mentorship, outreach, and evangelism, we aim to deepen your faith.
  • Empowerment Through Gifts: We offer a supportive space for you to discover and utilize your God-given gifts for God's glory and community service.
Our Scriptural Foundations
Our foundation is strong, rooted in the Bible, inspired by the faith and actions of remarkable biblical women:
  • Titus 2:3-5 encourages us to build a mentorship and community spirit.
  • 1 Peter 3:1-6 (Sarah), Exodus 15:20-21 (Miriam), Judges 4-5 (Deborah), Proverbs 31, Luke 10:38-41 & John 11:1-44 (Mary & Martha), Acts 9 (Dorcas), 2 Timothy 1:5 (Lois & Eunice) - These scriptures and stories inspire our commitment to faith, leadership, and service.
Our Programs and Activities
To fulfill our mission, we organize:
  • Bible Study Sessions: Diving deeper into God's Word together.
  • Events and Retreats: Creating opportunities for fellowship, reflection, and spiritual growth.
  • Interest Groups: Exploring diverse interests within a faith-based context.
  • Outreach Initiatives: Reaching out to those in need, both within and outside our community.
How We Operate
  • Planning with Purpose: Our activities are planned with insights from at least one Christian Ed committee member and another church member, ensuring alignment with our church's mission.
  • Kitchen and Supplies: For activities requiring kitchen facilities, we coordinate with the Hospitality committee.
  • Speaker Selection: We carefully select speakers, requiring approval from the Christian Ed committee to ensure they align with our mission and values.
  • Building Bridges: While we value inter-church relationships, leadership roles by those from outside our church in any of our activities need approval from the Christian Ed Committee.
